Induction
Induction cooktops offer superior efficiency and precision that makes cooking easier and more precise. It is the fastest and best temperature control that heats up twice as fast as ceramic Hi-Light hobs, making the induction hob more economical to use. Furthermore, induction is also safer, as it only heats the area of the hob that is covered by the bottom of the cookware, while the remaining part of the hob remains cool and always safe to the touch.
The plate heats using 8 premium oval magnet coils, which is faster than other heat sources. The temperature is adjusted instantly, with a simple touch, reducing the risk of the pan boiling over. Please note that not all types of cookware can be used on induction hobs. Induction requires that your cookware has a magnetic base in order for it to be used.
Slider Touch
Easily set the temperature of the hob with a single touch. Each cooking zone has individual power control. This provides a clear overview and easy heat setting.
Automatic pot detection
Induction cooking only starts when you place the cookware on the cooking zone. Therefore, cooking on induction hobs is safer than on a traditional hob.
Power Boost
With the PowerBoost function, you can increase the power of the cooking zone and thus heat up even faster. Power boost adds an extra effect to the cooking zones for up to 10 minutes. That's why Boost is ideal for getting dishes ready faster and for boiling water faster than ever before.
Timer
The Timer Plate is equipped with a Timer function which allows you to set the time for each zone. Follow the cooking with the timer, which can be set up to 99 minutes and gives you precise reminders of the time. It turns off the selected cooking zone when the time is up, and also acts as a minute clock.
Auto Shut-Off
The hob switches off automatically when overcooking, boiling dry and overheating. In addition, the cooking zone switches off when you remove the cookware.
Cleaning
The glass plate is simple in design with touch and is therefore easy to keep clean. Remember to use ceramic cleaner that protects the plate and keeps it looking good for longer.
Child lock
The child lock allows the plate to be locked so that little fingers do not switch off or change the settings of the zones. As an extra safety, the zones turn off automatically when cookware is removed.
